what little have you understood about economics?

what little have you understood about economics

here is a summary of what little I have understood since dad www.worldeconomist.net started reading up economics from an indian correspondece course in 1943 while waiting to navigte RAF planes out of bangadesh; the headline is keynes : only economics rules the world of manmade systems; ecologically nature integrates systems community up ; so the net generation (human race sustainbuloity) depends on replacing economics sponsored by superpowers and colonisers with the expoenentials community rising and colabortinmg economics

BACKGROUND ON WHERE BOTTOM UP END POVERTY MAPS STARTED HUBBING INTO MY LIFE
chrismacrae.com in general my maths career has involved practical but non-technical experiments on how nets/webs can change media, metrics and mediation to advance human lot - for me this started with elearning (500 student internets) in 1973; moved on to search of what societies wanted most in 40 countries (with a specific gravity around asia) 1976-1989 where parisian company and I formed an early worldwide database; ; in parallel my dad's 1976 survey Entrepreneurial Revolution The Economist 25 December explained big macroeconomics would send human beings bust unless we changed back to adam smith community up economics and openly collbortive media; one of the first internationbal financial scams happened round 1700 busting scotland; our country's hostile takeover by london made scotland a colony in all but name; by 1850 half of all scots had emigrated not being able to make a living under the london (global empire) accounting regime that valued (taxed scottish lairds) as sheep being more profitable quarterly than people; my twice great grandfather spent his life negotiating for scots to be paid the shipping fees to emigrate- something that every sabbath was used to communally mass the public (those within 4 hours wlk of his missionary centre) in dialogue circle; his hub didnt have microbanking, he had export entrepreneurial families (mainly) to americas or australias

it was against this great maths mistake (which Gandhi lter found embedded in how every colonial profession ruled and made money by owning the rules): that adam smith , french entrepreneurs and then james wilsoin founded 1843 The Economist; incidentally james doied before his time 9 months into project in calcutt aimed at chnaging economics (death could have be saved by bangaldesh's great invention of oral rehydration)

dads 1976 story Entrepreneurial Revolution in The Economist warned that as we became more globally connected than separated any great maths error spreadsheeting compound rule by quarterly numbers would not just collapse a scotland but the whole world of human entreprise; we can see 2008 wall street as probably the last tipping point warning of why we change economics now or forever after find communities not at peace but systemically at war with investing in youth

and dad and my 1984 book on net generation to 2020 mapped the 2 opposite spinning scenarios of what to do to destroy (top down lose-lose-lose) or exponentially sustain (win-win-win) the world http://www.normanmacrae.com/netfuture.html

mostofa was the first person to take me to dhaka to see yunus new years week 2008; since late 2006 he had been trying to conmnect any londoner around yunus methods; he's therefore first person for londners to know as my daughter and fmily now live in DC; currently I would say jonathan and all his connections at www.the-hub.net is second person for londoners to multiply upmicro connectiosn through; when true to world citizen guiding & collaboration purpose (not mobile twittering nd cult facilitation) there is also more of a womens and local job creation group round sofia;

for me all of this connects back to 2005 and before that 9/11; make poverty history year sounded a breakthrough; at the time I had been sponsoring meetings -eg on photosynthesis and on digital collaboration meets real world open spaces of my hero and neighbour harrison owen) in jonatahan's hubs almost since isliington opened in 2004 and I was network drirector for www.simpol.org; they deleagted me to all the ngo partnering meetings of MOPH; I go the shock of my life- all these top-down ngos seemed to be meeting to discuss how to make money but none to share grassroots solutions; then my great advicer on community building got killed in 7/7; a year that had started for me in mid dec 2004 with a 500 gandhian meeting in delhi where we had mapped out so many open newtork plans that never got flowed because a week later most of these folk were trying to save tsunami communities had proved to me how fast the world was colapsing; so I invited 40 people only to come to the hub if they had an issue so urgent they would shre networks; and started a new worldwide survey "collaboration entrepremeurship" on who was most locally trusted; this is where sofia and I and all the loosely conected networks of the other 38 who joined the hub meetng discovered a bit to our shame that bangladesh was really the first place to be connected to chnging economics but we knew nobody there!
